In 2022 I have created the Virtual SPA Resort where among other things I have included the dance classes within the virtual Dance Hall. Then during 2023 I’ve been involved a lot in dancing: organising classes and events, participating in conferences and instructors training, and researching and practicing on my own and with my dance group. And I have realised even more the value of the dance I’ve created in my Virtual SPA Resort. And that it must be shared with others, not limited to the Virtual SPA Resort guests. This way the dance concept SPA Dance was born, the Dance of SPA Resorts.

Why SPA Dance?
SPA is an acronym of “salus per aquam”, which means “health through water”. Water is commonly used a therapeutic technique as it is proven to have healing properties. Hence in SPA Dance water is the key element. All movements are inspired by the connection with the water. With the help of visualisation, meditation and sound healing techniques, the complete immersion is created, even without physical contact with water.
Why Dance of SPA Resorts?
I wondered why there is many body treatments related to water in SPA Resorts. But there is no dedicated physical activity related to water, to SPA “health through water”. Such activity so you can feel this SPA atmosphere and immerse into SPA state – state of complete relaxation and inspiration, enjoying life. So I decided to create one and call it SPA Dance – Dance of SPA Resorts.

SPA Dance concept
SPA Dance is a unique blend of SPA experience & Dance. It is primarily based on Improvisation, Contact Improvisation, Dance Meditation, Jazzo, Movement Awareness, Breath Work, Chakra System, Mindfulness, Meditation, Visualisation, Sound Healing.
SPA Dance consists of 3 main parts:
By the Water – Improvisation (normal speed)
On the Water – Contact Improvisation (slower speed)
Under the Water – Dance Meditation (very slow speed)

The idea is to create the feeling of being by the water, regardless of your location. By immersing into this atmosphere, all movements are getting inspired by the water/sea/ocean. Ocean can be very different from the complete silence to the raging waves, so as our emotions. Let yourself explore all your emotions and moods.

Here you immerse into the feeling of being on the water. You feel relaxed and supported by the water, you feel this motherhood energy, as if someone is rocking you. Your senses start to to be more obvious, you sense the water with your touches. All this begins to slowly immerse you into the SPA state – state of complete relaxation and inspiration.

Let’s dive underwater. Imagine yourself being there, exploring this underwater world. Complete serenity and peace around you and within you. Feel this atmosphere. Here you experience and dive into a SPA state – state of complete relaxation and inspiration, enjoying life.
Julia Kaci – Dance Background
Since childhood Julia always dreamed of being a Dancer. And her dream came true! She is now a Mindfulness Dance Instructor and Dancer.
In the childhood she was doing rhythmic gymnastics, which initially grew out of the ideas of free dance. Even though she did not have the opportunity to fully engage in dancing, her passion never faded, and she continued to dream of becoming a dancer. Contemporary has always been her favourite dance style from little up, every year she has been watching dance shows and imagining herself dancing so freely and emotionally.
And when already in Sweden in 2017, she was so happy to find the dance classes. Since then, every semester she has been dancing contemporary, modern, lyrical and improvisation, usually also combining with some ballet, jazz and technique classes, to refine her dance skills and physical conditioning.
In early 2021, she discovered Jazzo, a style that allowed her to feel even more freedom in movement. It expanded her body’s possibilities and helped release both physical and mental blocks. This experience made her realise that everyone can dance and even become a dancer. So in just a few months she applied for certification and was immediately accepted. By early 2022, while pregnant, she became the certified Jazzo & Mindfulness Dance Instructor, and was holding online dance classes. And at the same time she created the project Juliadegore SPA.
After giving birth, she continued using mindfulness dance as a way for recovery. By 2023, she had begun teaching at a dance studio in Växjö, Sweden, leading dance circles in mindfulness dance both in the studio and outdoors in parks.
Later in 2023, Julia created the SPA Dance concept, inspired in part by her dream of underwater dance – a practice she continues to explore and embody today.
